Venice — a 1971 Venetian water taxi, privately yours
Handmade in solid mahogany at the Cantiere Celli boatyard in Venice, Venice is one of roughly 500 such water taxis left in the world. Fully restored and converted to silent electric power, she glides through the canal belt with nothing but the sound of water against the hull.
Open-air or under cover, in every season
On fine days the roof folds back and everyone sits in the open. When the weather turns, the convertible roof closes, the cabin heating comes on and blankets are on board. From late November, she is one of the most beautiful ways to see the Amsterdam Light Festival.
Your group, your pace
Only your party on board, up to 12 guests, with a professional captain who shares stories of the city, or steers quietly if you'd rather talk among yourselves. Ideal for couples, anniversaries, proposals, birthdays, family visits and small celebrations. We pick you up anywhere in Amsterdam (your hotel, a canal-side spot or a private dock), or you board at the Apollo Hotel in Amsterdam-Zuid.
Champagne, wine and dinner on the water
Order Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart or a bottle of rosé from the bar on board. On cruises of two hours or longer, pre-order sharing platters, warm Dutch bites, pizza, pasta or burgers with your booking. Two hours is our guests' favourite: time to see the canal belt without rushing, and time for a proper drink and bite.
