Private boat tours give you the whole boat for your group — pick your departure time, bring your own drinks on most boats, and let a local skipper show you the canals at your pace. Boats range from intimate saloon boats for 8 to open sloops for 35 guests.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a private boat tour in Amsterdam cost?+

Private boats start from around €200 per hour for smaller boats, with larger boats for big groups from €440. The price is per boat, not per person — so a group of 10 often pays less per person than a shared cruise.

Made with ❤️ in Amsterdam

+

Our fleet ranges from cosy saloon boats for up to 8 guests to spacious open sloops for up to 35. Every listing shows the maximum capacity.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?+

On most private boats, yes — BYO drinks and snacks are welcome. Some boats also offer on-board bars or catering options. Check the "What's included" section on each cruise.

What happens if it rains?+

Many boats have a roof or canopy for rainy weather, and skippers sail year-round. If a tour must be cancelled due to severe weather, you can rebook or get a refund.

How far in advance should we book?+

For summer weekends and sunset slots we recommend booking at least a week ahead. Weekday and daytime departures often have availability a day or two out.
