description: Step aboard our private boats, classic salon boat built in 1915 and 1920 converted to electric just six years ago. It’s quiet, smooth, and full of character.

On this private cruise, you’ll see both the iconic sights and tucked-away corners of Amsterdam. Unlike the large tourist boats, Delphine can glide through the city’s narrowest canals, giving you a more personal view of the city.

Once on board, you’ll talk with the skipper about your ideal route. From there, just sit back and take in the views as the boat drifts through the water.

The boats are cozy and private, with space for up to 12 guests. It usually departs from the H'Art Museum at Amstel 51, but we can also arrange hotel pick-up if the route allows.

Want to add something extra? You can include drinks, champagne, or Dutch bitterballen for the ride.

We begin our journey on the beautiful Amstel, gently cruising into our first canal: the prestigious Herengracht.

Scenic Views
As you take in the iconic canal houses and the famous Seven Bridges, you'll hear stories about the history of the canals and the unique features of the canal house facades.

Route Options
From here, we’ll choose between two directions:

A route through the heart of the canal belt and into the Jordaan
Or a scenic ride along the Prinsengracht, past the charming Spiegelstraat and under the lowest bridge in Amsterdam, continuing toward the Rijksmuseum with views of Paradiso, the historic American Hotel, and a glimpse of the lively Leidseplein.

Tailored Final Hour
The last hour of the cruise is up to you. You can explore more of the Old City, take a look at the Red Light District, or simply enjoy a quiet drift through the canals.

We always customise the tour to match your preferences and will spend a few minutes discussing the itinerary with you before departure.

If you're cruising with kids, we’re happy to adjust the route to include family-friendly sights—like the impressive 17th-century ship Amsterdam in the harbor area or a cruise past the Artis Zoo.

highlights: Highlights we recommend:

The charming Jordaan area with its narrow canals and peaceful vibe

The romantic Skinny Bridge and Amstel locks

The harbor area with the impressive 17th-century vessel Amsterdam

Or, for those curious, a glimpse of the famous Red Light District
check_in_details: Before You Board
We recommend arriving at the dock 15 minutes before departure. There are often other boats in the area, so a little extra time helps ensure a smooth and relaxed start.

You can recognize the Delphine by her distinctive white and red striped roof and her elegant, antique historic appearance—a true classic among Amsterdam’s canal boats.

Meeting Point:
The dock is a large wooden platform in front of the H’ART Museum, overlooking the Amstel River.
Please make your way to the waterfront side of the dock so you can easily spot the boat as she arrives.
