This is a private canal cruise in Amsterdam for up to twelve guests, departing from Keizersgracht 196 near the Westerkerk. The boat itself is over a century old, fully electric, and comes with a heated cabin, windows on all sides, and a toilet on board. A retractable roof means you can sit outside when the weather cooperates, or stay dry when it does not. Your captain and guide is Sebi, a local who knows the canals well and can shape the route around what your group wants to see.
The standard booking runs two hours, though the duration can be adjusted if you need more time. This is your boat for the afternoon or evening — no strangers, no fixed itinerary. Whether it is a birthday, a work outing, or a quiet afternoon with family, the tour adapts to you. Blankets are provided for anyone who wants to sit on the deck.
Catering is optional and added after booking. You can choose an open bar with wine, beer, soft drinks, and hot drinks for twenty euros per person, or order a Dutch platter with cheese and fried snacks, or a tapas selection with prawns, calamari, and albondigas. Bringing your own drinks is also fine — there is a corkage fee of fifty euros per hour. Free cancellation applies outside forty-eight hours, so plans can change without penalty. Smaller boat (but not too small) and crowd (max 12 passengers) was great for getting into every canal - and for the visit to be special and more personal, with character - not like the monster, corporate tour boats you'll see. Loved that you could sit inside or outside - and local snacks and drinks were tasty and fun. Great price for a semi private tour, too! When we're back, we'll book with Sebi again.”

He smoothly tailored his tour to the group we had on board, including switching flawlessly into German for one other passenger to ensure she was able to understand the historical details as well. The snacks and drinks were plentiful and delicious and the Giuliana was a pleasure to be aboard! I loved how the small craft was able to nimbly navigate the smaller canals that other tour boats can't reach. Our tour was two hours, but I could have easily done two hours more. It was pure pleasure to be on the water with Sebi and would do it again in a heartbeat! Worth every single penny and then some!”
