I lived in Amsterdam many years ago and have done practically everything this city has to offer, including more than five canal cruises on the big tour boats. Nothing — and I mean nothing — compares to this experience. This is, by far, the number one thing to do in Amsterdam.
My daughter Dacey and I were fortunate enough to have Vanessa, the owner herself, take us through the canals. The boat is wonderfully intimate, worlds apart from the crowded larger boats. With old French music playing softly in the background and truly five-star food, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed aboard by a friend who happens to know every canal and its stories.
And we clearly weren't the only ones who noticed how special it was — people on the bigger boats kept pointing our boat out to their friends as we glided past. Jealousy was spread all over the water, and honestly, I understood them completely.
Vanessa's warmth and knowledge made an already beautiful evening unforgettable. Of all my days in Amsterdam — and there have been many — this one with my daughter was among the most special. If you're debating between this and one of the big canal boats: don't......... Book this.”

We booked a private boat tour with breakfast included, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!
Our great experience actually started the day before the tour. Although our initial email request accidentally went into their spam folder, Vanessa from the reception desk handled the situation perfectly when I called. Her phone service was outstanding, and she incredibly managed to arrange everything and accommodate all of our special requests for the very next day.
On the day of the tour, our captain, Maurice, was fantastic—he was so kind and welcoming, making our breakfast cruise perfect. Thanks to both of them, my family and I had an amazing and memorable time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam!”

“We had an unforgettable private boat tour including dinner on the Delphin last Saturday. This was a gift from our children for our golden wedding anniversary. Our captain Guus (a true Amsterdammer), a really nice and friendly man, told us so much about Amsterdam and showed us some really beautiful spots in the city. We couldn't have asked for a better captain. On top of that, the 3-course dinner was delicious. This is a real must-do!”
