A private canal cruise through Amsterdam with just your group, an open bar, and a full hour on the water. Private Cruise with Drinks departs daily from Starboard Dock near Rembrandtplein, putting you on the canals within minutes of the city centre. The boat is electric, spacious enough for up to 26 guests, and covered if the weather turns. A skipper handles the navigation while a dedicated host keeps drinks flowing.
The open bar runs for the duration of your cruise — beer, wine, and soft drinks, all included. You're welcome to bring your own food if you'd like to make it more of an occasion: a birthday, a work outing, a family gathering, or just a group of friends who'd rather not share their boat with strangers. The seating is comfortable and there's room to move around, which matters when you're spending an hour together.
From Starboard Dock, the cruise heads out along the Amstel River and loops through some of Amsterdam's main canals, passing under the stretch known locally as the seven bridges. Your skipper and host know the waterways well enough to point out what's worth noticing without turning the trip into a lecture. The route brings you back to the same spot you started — convenient if you're planning to continue your evening nearby. Two-hour options are available if an hour feels too short.

“So many options to choose from in Amsterdam but we enjoyed this one. It was extremely hot this day but they had water on board and umbrellas to help. We did the unlimited drinks and it was worth it as we both enjoyed 3 beers. It was cool to see the city by boat. Our skipper (forgetting her name) and guide (Stella) were great. Stella is from the states but has been living in Amsterdam a few years now and knew a lot about the city. It was only us and another group of 2 so it was basically a private ride which was really cool as well.”

The boat was ready as soon as we arrived at the pick-up point, and the team warmly welcomed us on board. They took the time to explain the different routes available and even recommended the best ones to make the most of our trip. What impressed us most was their flexibility. Although we had booked a different drop-off location, they kindly accommodated our preferred drop-off point without any hassle.
