“Took a Friendship cruise with my sister and our kids last week Wednesday and we had an excellent time. If you book directly through their website I think the price is reasonable especially for the helmsmanship skills of captain Ed and the steward and guide services provided by Maritza including a free shot. I am from Amsterdam myself and would recommend this cruise, they use an open boat with round seating which adds to the experience (umbrella provided for sun and/or rain).”

“Friendship Cruise, Amsterdam: No visit back to Amsterdam is complete without our Amsterdam canal cruise! This time upgraded to unlimited cocktails and snacks while we bake in the elusive summer sun, feel the wind in our hairs and take in the sweet sights of our nostalgic Jordaan neighbourhood. File past the big tourist operators for the newish Friendship Cruise company which has these wide open top boats with open bars. Service was warm and the captain had a cheeky sense of humour while delivering his commentary. #eatstylishtravelstylish”

Captain Daan and our host Clement were brilliant — they were very informative, great fun, and really helped make the experience memorable. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and enjoyable, and learning about the boat and the city from them made it even better. They also distil their own vodka, which is available to buy on board, and we couldn’t resist taking some home with us. A great experience with excellent hosts — highly recommended!”
