See the Amsterdam Light Festival from the water on a 70-minute shared cruise along the official festival route, past 20 light installations. You sail on a 100% electric boat with cushioned seating. Your skipper doubles as your guide and shares local tips and stories about the city's history and culture. Groups are small.
Adult tickets cost EUR 29.75 for the tour only and EUR 39.75 with drinks. Children aged 4 to 12 pay less.
The drinks ticket includes gluhwein, beer, wine or soft drinks. The tour-only ticket does not include drinks, so check the ticket type when you book. A classic Dutch snack is also offered on board.
The cruise runs during the 15th edition of the festival, from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. The artworks are lit every evening from 16:30 to 23:00 (until 21:00 on 31 December).
Stationsplein 17, in front of Central Station. Take the Stationsplein exit and go down the stairs at the Amsterdam Light Festival departure flag. Look for the Amsterdam Boat Trips team in red jackets.
